Medication Routine is a private medication log for family caregivers. It runs entirely on your device.
What this app collects
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The developer cannot see anything you enter.
What is stored on your device
Everything you enter stays in an encrypted database on your phone: the medications you add, their doses, routes, schedules and instructions, and every administration record you create — given, refused, missed, along with any reasons, times, symptoms and notes attached to them.
This information is never uploaded automatically and never leaves your device unless you deliberately save a portable backup copy somewhere yourself.
Reminders
The app can notify you when a medication window opens and when it closes. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device, based on the medication times you entered. Nothing is sent to a server, and no reminder information leaves your phone. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Voice input
Some notes fields let you dictate instead of typing. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device using a model bundled inside the app. Your voice is not sent to any server, no audio recording is saved, and only the text you end up with is stored.
Dictation uses your device's microphone. You can deny or revoke the microphone permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app continues to work normally.
App Lock
If you turn on App Lock, the app asks your device to confirm it is you before opening — using whatever unlock method your phone already has. That check is performed by your device. The app never receives or stores your PIN, password, fingerprint, or face data.
Backups
You can create encrypted local backups from within the app. The app keeps the five newest local backups in app-managed storage. When a sixth local backup is created, the oldest local backup is deleted automatically. You can also delete any local backup manually from the Data Management screen.
Save a Copy lets you create a portable encrypted backup in a location you choose, such as Downloads, Documents, a computer, removable storage, or other external storage. Portable copies can be moved off the phone, copied back later, and imported through the Data Management screen for restoration.
Backup files are encrypted rather than plain text, so they are not readable in an ordinary text or spreadsheet program. They still contain your complete medication and administration history, so treat them as private health records. The app does not upload backups automatically.
Third-party services
This app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection code.
It does contain optional links to external websites. If you follow one, you leave the app and that website's own privacy policy applies to what you do there.
Deleting your information
Uninstalling the app removes its encrypted database and the local backups managed by the app. Portable copies saved to Downloads, Documents, a computer, removable storage, or another external location are not removed when the app is uninstalled. You must delete those copies separately from the locations where you saved them.
Children
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
